These terms apply when you use Daftar Chat on WhatsApp, on the website, or on the accountant page. By connecting your business, signing in, or using the service, you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
1. What Daftar Chat does
Daftar Chat is an AI assistant that turns the invoices you send it (photos, PDFs, files or messages) into UAE e-invoices, checks them, and sends them through an accredited e-invoicing provider (currently Wafeq) when you approve. It also checks supplier invoices and prepares monthly VAT reports.
2. Early version
Daftar Chat is in an early pilot. While it runs on the provider's sandbox (test) environment, nothing it sends reaches the UAE Federal Tax Authority or your buyers. We will tell you before anything is sent for real. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times.
3. You approve every invoice
Daftar Chat never sends an e-invoice until you press Send. Before you do, check the details: buyer, TRN, amounts, VAT and dates. The AI can misread a photo or a file. You are responsible for the invoices you approve and for the information you give us, and you must have the right to share it.
4. Not tax or legal advice
Daftar Chat gives information to help you prepare invoices. It is not tax, accounting or legal advice. For decisions about VAT treatment, special cases or your obligations, ask your accountant or tax adviser.
5. Your accountant
If you tell Daftar Chat who your accountant is, that person can sign in with their email and see your business's invoices, VAT totals and reports (read-only). You can change or remove your accountant at any time by telling the agent.
6. The e-invoicing provider
Sending e-invoices goes through your own account with the provider (Wafeq). Their terms apply to that account. You can disconnect Daftar Chat from your provider account at any time.
7. Fair use
Use Daftar Chat only for your own business's genuine invoices. Do not use it to create false invoices, to break the law, or to interfere with the service.
8. Price
Daftar Chat is free during the pilot. If we introduce a price later, we will tell you in advance and you can choose whether to continue.
9. Limits on our responsibility
We work to keep Daftar Chat accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, especially during the pilot. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from an invoice you approved, a mistake you could have caught before pressing Send, or the provider's or WhatsApp's services being unavailable.
10. Ending
You can stop using Daftar Chat at any time and ask the agent to delete your information. We may suspend access if these terms are broken.
11. Changes and law
If we change these terms, we will update the version above and tell you on WhatsApp or by email before the change matters. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
